Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Does Lovely Legends have two-factor authentication?

Lovely Legends does not offer its own two-factor authentication yet — there is no authenticator-app or SMS 2FA in the product today, and any page claiming to set one up for you is not us. What you can do now is switch on two-step verification inside Telegram itself, which protects the account that signs you in, and set a strong unique password on the email address you bound.

Note

Two-factor authentication built into Lovely Legends is not available yet. This page describes what is true today and will be updated when it ships — it does not describe a feature you can turn on now.

There is no 2FA screen to show, because the feature does not exist yet. This is the account security that IS available today: a bound email and a password.

What protects your account today

Two things can sign in to your Lovely Legends account: your Telegram account, and the email address you bound to it. There is no third factor on top of those inside the product. That means the strongest thing you can do right now is secure both of those accounts properly.

Turn on Telegram's own two-step verification

Telegram has its own two-step verification, and because Telegram sign-in is the main route into Lovely Legends, switching it on protects your Lovely Legends account too. It lives in Telegram under Settings → Privacy and Security → Two-Step Verification. This is Telegram's feature, configured in Telegram — Lovely Legends is not involved and cannot see it.

Secure the email address you bound

Anyone who can read that inbox can start a password reset on your Lovely Legends account. Use a unique password on it and enable that provider's own two-factor authentication.

The approval step you already have

When you sign in on the web with "Continue in Telegram", the bot shows you a code with Approve and Deny buttons and waits. That step is a real protection and it only works if you use it: approve a code only when it matches the one on your own screen, from a sign-in you started yourself.

Warning

Because Lovely Legends has no 2FA of its own, nobody can legitimately walk you through "enabling 2FA" on your account, and no genuine setup will ever ask for your seed phrase, password or a login code. Treat any such message as an attack.
