Spot Trading Fees
What a spot trade costs on Lovely Legends, how maker and taker are decided, and how the fee is actually taken.
Maker and Taker Orders
Maker — 0.20%
Your order rests on the order book and waits. It adds liquidity, and someone else trades against it later.
Taker — 0.30%
Your order fills immediately against orders already on the book. It removes liquidity, which is why it costs more.
Standard Spot Fees
Applies to every account by default, on all listed spot markets.
| Trading Type | Standard Fee |
|---|---|
| Maker Fee | 0.20% |
| Taker Fee | 0.30% |
Paying Fees in LF
Choose to pay eligible spot trading fees in LF and take 20% off them.
| Trading Type | Standard | Paid in LF |
|---|---|---|
| Maker | 0.20% | 0.16% |
| Taker | 0.30% | 0.24% |
Turn it on in Settings
One toggle. It applies to orders placed after you enable it — an order already resting on the book keeps the terms it was placed under.
Fund your exchange balance
The fee is taken from LF in your exchange trading balance. LF in your wallet is a separate balance and is not used.
Nothing breaks if you run out
If your LF will not cover a fee, that trade is charged the standard rate in the quote asset and still goes through.
Tiered Fee Model by 30-Day Trading Volume

Example Calculation
How Trading Fees Are Charged
In the quote currency
Fees are taken in the quote side of the pair — USDT on a USDC/USDT trade — not in the asset you bought.
On top of a buy
When you buy, the fee is reserved in addition to what you spend. Spending 10 USDT means 10 USDT of fill plus the fee, never 10 inclusive.
Included in your maximum
The size slider caps at the largest order your balance can cover with the fee included, so the maximum it offers always goes through.
Questions
What is the difference between a maker and a taker fee?
A maker order rests on the order book and is matched later by someone else — 0.20%. A taker order fills immediately against orders already there — 0.30%. Makers pay less because they add the liquidity everyone else trades against.
Which fee will I pay?
Whichever role your order ended up in on each fill. A limit order that rests and is later matched pays maker; the same order pays taker on any part that crossed the spread immediately. One order can pay both across different fills.
In what currency is the fee charged?
In the quote asset of the pair — USDT on a USDC/USDT trade — not in the coin you bought. On a buy the fee is reserved on top of what you spend; on a sell it comes out of the proceeds.
How does paying fees in LF work?
Turn it on in Settings. When a trade fills, the fee is taken in LF from your exchange trading balance at 20% off, converted at our own last LF/USDT trade price. LF in your wallet is a different balance and is not used. If your exchange balance will not cover it, that trade is charged the standard fee and still goes through.
Am I on a volume tier?
No. The product does not calculate 30-day trading volume, so no account is on a tier. The ladder on this page is a published proposal, not a schedule anyone is charged against.
Can my rate differ from the published one?
Yes. Rates are set per market and an individual account can carry an override. The figure shown in the order form before you confirm is the one that applies to your account and pair.
